  1. All I can tell ya girl is you painted a smile on my face as I slid down each line to the next one...not quite knowing where I was going....but loving the images along the way. Somewhere in our lifetime we have images of girls in pink poodle skirts and two tone oxfords...we're the Southern version of Saturday Night Fever.....and the wild antics of Thelma and Louise riding off into the sunset....and Steel Magnolias. We wouldn't trade our childhoods and teenaged years for five seconds in New York City. We know....oh yes, we do! We know the glory of being a girl from the South...and YOU my dear writer....have opened up the memories and brought us smiles. Never underestimate the gift of writing....it's a gift to you for us.

  2. Thanks Peg... so glad ya liked it, kinda crazy and quirky, but it was FUN! And you are soooo right... wouldn't TRADE A THING... love being a SUTHERN GURL! :) Awww... you called me a WRITER... THAT sounds strange, but good. I hope to continue to hone these skills that only come from God... sometimes my fingers fly and I wonder where on Earth the thoughts are coming from, but then... I KNOW~! I am trying to look at my writing in just that way now... truly a GIFT from GOD. It may not be great, but it will always be from my heart that HE helps me to put into words that can get onto paper.. well, at least THIS SCREEN! haha... Thanking YOU for getting me going on this BLOG THANG! loving it! <3 you too! Hugs... ~me
